Saltline Studio LLC (“we,” “us”) builds and hosts websites for small businesses. We keep this simple: we only collect what we need to respond to you and do our work, and we never sell your information.

Information we collect

When you submit our contact form, request a free website audit, or chat with our AI assistant, we collect the details you provide — such as your business name, your name, phone number, email address, the website URL you enter, and any messages. We also collect basic, anonymous usage statistics (such as page views and general location) to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry, provide services you've requested, and communicate with you about your project. Usage statistics are used in aggregate to improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are privacy-friendly and cookieless — they measure traffic in aggregate and don't build a profile of you or follow you across other sites.

AI chat assistant

Our site offers an optional AI chat assistant that answers questions and, if you choose, passes your contact details to us so we can follow up. Your messages are processed by Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to generate replies; under Anthropic's commercial API terms, this content is not used to train their models. Please don't share sensitive personal information in the chat — to reach us about anything private, email or call us directly.

Service providers

A few trusted providers help us operate. They process data only on our behalf:

• –Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
• –Resend — delivers contact-form, audit, and chat submissions to us by email.
• –Anthropic — powers our AI chat assistant; processes chat messages to generate replies.
• –Google — our free website audit submits the URL you enter to Google PageSpeed Insights to measure performance.
• –Stripe — securely processes payments if you pay a deposit or invoice online.

Keeping your information

We keep contact submissions as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, to provide and support your services. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

Email us at josh@saltline-studio.com to see what we have, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll take care of it.

Children

Our site and services are intended for businesses and adults, and are not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “last updated” date above.
